2019 Classic Merlot Cabernet Franc

A classic blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the Haan Estate vineyards in the heart of the Barossa Valley.

Both wines were matured individually in French oak barriques prior to blending.

The blend proportions vary with the climatic conditions of the year but Mersot is always the major part.

Merlot gives the rich, velvety softness and generosity of ripe plums and raspberries which then combines with the lifted floral tones of fresh violets from the Cabernet Franc.

A rewarding wine in both style and character.

Although the blend is ready to drink upon release, it will benefit from cellaring for up to 5 years.

An excellent accompaniment to game birds or spicy pizzas!
